Yoga - Group Classes - All sessions from Paries House

Dynamic Flow Yoga

Class Times:
Tuesdays at 19.00
Fridays at 09:15

Using posture combinations that specifically develop core strength and promote active movements, yoga can successfully counter against static lifestyles. Knowledge from a sports science background helps to bring a clear, modern language to yoga practice. Sessions are energetic and fun, helping focus mind, body and thought through movement and the release of endorphins.

Soft Yoga

Class Times:
Tuesdays at 17.45
Thursdays at 09:30

Focus in these classes moves away from the physical actions themselves and centres around the idea of how the body responds to movement. The yoga encourages thought: how our mind and knowledge of ‘self’ relates to the physical action. This helps focus the mind, and begins to explore the physical and mental space we inhabit.

Men's Yoga

Class Times:
Thursdays at 19:30

Focus in these classes is to help men listen to their bodies and understand the subtle signals they send. Participants will learn to address issues stemming from various factors, including over-exercise and past traumas. By recognising and encouraging small, incremental changes, individuals can experience significant improvements over time. This practice not only fosters physical well-being but also provides a solid foundation for ongoing maintenance and overall health.

Cost: £70 for course of 10 x 1 hour sessions
£8.00 per drop in session.

Classes are open to all age groups and abilities.
Under 16s please bring a guardian.

Yoga - One On One Sessions

During these hourly sessions the focus is on you as an individual. Here we explore yoga techniques that target your areas of weakness.

The sessions are particularly suited to those who have specific needs, for instance those suffering from depression, chronic fatigue and dementia, as well as those undergoing cancer treatment and people with muscular skeletal problems.

"I wish I had come to see you when I was first diagnosed with chronic fatigue. I would have had a far more positive experience in coping with the diagnosis."

"I don't like being in a class, I am too self conscious. I learn far more in a lesson, I can ask questions and really start to understand what's going on."

Cost: £40 per 1 x hour session
